Page 37 - Rules of Divorce in Islam

<p>On page 37, Allah عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ provides guidance on divorce and the treatment of divorced women. After fulfilling the prescribed waiting period, divorced women can either be taken back on reasonable terms or set free but taking them back to harm is a wrongdoing against oneself.</p><p>Allah عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ emphasizes not to treat His laws lightly and reminds believers of the favors of Islam and the guidance in the Qur'an and the Prophet's Sunnah.</p><p>If divorced women, having completed their waiting period, wish to marry their former husbands again, it is permissible if both parties agree on reasonable terms.
