<p>The Strength of the Strong is a short story allegory meant to complement London's upcoming 1912 book "The Scarlet Plague", in which a plague in 2012 depopulates the planet and a survivor of that plague tries to impart wisdom to his grandsons in order that they can survive in the years following the plague.
