In May of 1951, 60 miles north of present-day Seoul, South Korea, a U.S. Army regiment was preparing an artillery bombardment when a strange glowing object descended towards them from a nearby mountain. The craft approached close enough that a private was able to take aim and fire armor-piercing rounds and seemingly strike the object eliciting a metallic sound.
