August 23, 1987. Kevin Ives and his best friend Don Henry set out for what was said to be a harmless night hunting trip. The boys left their homes at slightly past midnight. Four hours later Stephen Shoyer spotted the boys laying across the railroad tracks that ran through their town of Bryant, Arkansas. Unfortunately, when Stephen Shoyer spotted them, it was too late to stop his 6000 ton cargo train from crushing the two boys.
